I am running to help:

• Ensure our tax dollars are spent to bring better resources to our seniors. (Food, transportation to medical appointments, and affordable housing)

• Build stronger partnerships between the County, local businesses and the community in support of our children.

• Ensure that all small businesses, especially minority and women-owned, are given the chance to benefit from Macomb County’s partnership.

· 

District 8 includes the County seat (Mount Clemens), which has a 22% poverty rate. I believe the improvement of this district is important to improving our entire County.

As a Commissioner, I will use my platform to bring light to these issues and ensure they are prioritized when budgets are developed, and annual goals are set.
